Free to the public- limited seating! 

4:00 PM: Doors open. Candidates are encouraged to greet attendees at their respective tables and share campaign literature.

4:30 PM: Formal program begins. Candidates will be called in this order:

1. Township Trustee Candidates
2. School Board Candidates
3. City Council Candidates

Each candidate will have five (5) minutes total to speak. Please plan to use approximately two (2) minutes for introductions and the remaining time to share why you believe you should be elected.

Our special guest moderator, Eddie Powell—former U.S. Small Business Journalist of the Year, business educator, author, and television host—will facilitate the event and ensure time limits are upheld in a neutral and professional manner.

Why the Chamber of Commerce?

Chambers of Commerce are typically 501(c)(6) non-profit organizations, which have more flexibility than 501(c)(3) charities regarding political activity, but a non-partisan forum format is still crucial for credibility and legal safety.

No Endorsement: The Chamber of Commerce does not endorse, support, or oppose any political candidate or party. This forum is strictly for voter education.

Moderator Neutrality: The Moderator must be strictly non-partisan, maintain a neutral demeanor, and enforce all rules impartially.
